Brena earned her MLIS at UCLA in 2004 and her BA in History at UC Santa Cruz in 2001. She is responsible for coordinating reference, outreach and instruction services for CalArts students, staff, and faculty. Prior to coming to CalArts she held a position in UCLA’s Powell Library where she worked collaboratively to integrate the Information Literacy Program’s mission and goals into UCLA’s undergraduate curricula.
