Ben Neufeld is a filmmaker and colorist living in Los Angeles. His films often exist on the boundaries between documentary and fiction, combining the formal conventions of the two in order to magnify or reflect the assumptions we make about truth. He was born and raised in New York City, got his B.A. from Oberlin College, and an M.F.A. in Film + Video from CalArts. He has received an award from the Princess Grace Foundation and has exhibited domestically and internationally in film festivals, galleries, museums, TV broadcasts and a barge on the Daugava river. He's the founder of Green Field Color, which provides finishing and color grading services for film, television, independent, and commercial clients throughout Los Angeles and beyond.
