Miranda Hoffs

Miranda received her Bachelor's in Art and Art History from Vanderbilt University in 2010 and her MFA in Art at CalArts in 2014. Some of the themes that run through her visual art practice include food and the body, female gender identity, and the politics of the domestic space. In her most recent work, she is interested in exploring the world of radical hospitality through live performance, social practice and installation—and sometimes through cupcakes. In her free time, you’ll often find her in the kitchen baking exorbitant amounts of food, exploring the beaches of Mexico or taking countless selfies with her four dogs and kitten.
