Claire Chrzan

Claire Chrzan is thrilled to return to CalArts after completing her MFA in Experience Design and Production. Originally from Chicago, her work has been seen at The Goodman, Steppenwolf, Court Theatre, Manual Cinema, Writers Theatre, Northlight, A Red Orchid, The Joffrey Ballet's Joffrey Academy, and at The Public Theatre in NYC and The Edinburgh Fringe Festival. At CalArts, she designed the lighting for The Water Station, as well as CalArts Center for New Performance’s Augustine Machine and Etta and Ella on the Upper West Side. Claire is currently working as a lighting designer at Banks Landl Lighting Design. Upcoming theatrical productions include Much Ado About Nothing and The 39 Steps at Utah Shakespeare Festival next summer. Claire holds a MFA in Experience Design from California Institute of the Arts and a BA in Theatrical Design from Columbia College Chicago.
