Maria V. Oliveira is a freelance stage manager based in LA and Orange counties. She was drawn to live performance at an early age, dancing since she was three years old and in high school discovering a penchant for storytelling through acting and singing. Her time in university expanded her experience into technical theater and film, cultivating strengths in carpentry, scenic artistry, production management, and stage management.
As a stage manager, Maria has worked predominantly in community-engaged theater with Cornerstone Theater Company. She enjoys working on devised theater and new works and had the opportunity to stage manage for CalArts Center for New Performance in the 2022-23 season. Recently, touring independent theater has stoked her love for travel and live performance.
