BK Dawson

BK Dawson is an award-winning, 2021 MFA Acting graduate from CalArts with additional accolades in voiceover, screenwriting, sound engineering, teaching, and solo performance. Recently, BK has created his own production company, "The Delicious Ambitious", and starred in the SCREENSHOTS series, August Wilson's Two Trains Running, and Sophocles' Oedipus. Other iconic roles such as The Scarecrow (The Wiz), Puck (A Midsummer Nights Dream), Audrey II (The Little Shop of Horrors), Lear (King Lear), and even childhood favorites such as Charlie Brown (You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown). In 2016, BK Dawson brought George Orwell's Winston Smith to life in the first-ever performance of Michael Gene Sullivan's adaptation of 1984, with "absolute charm and vulnerability".

Based in Los Angeles, BK continues to create and pioneer the new wave of diverse talent alongside his fellow 2021 cohort. He loves dogs, cartoons, dad jokes, and laughter.
